About us

WHO WE ARE

CTL PROPERTY LIMITED (CTL) is a Canadian startup company incubated by Empowered Startups Ltd. The company offers an online platform that connects homebuyers and investors, by facilitating property financing and equity investment through shared ownership. CTL was established in Canada on 20 September 2022 under Ontario Corporation Number 1000316930.

WHAT WE DO

Through our innovative online platform, we connect homebuyers and investors where:

  • buyers can finance their home without incurring debt, and
  • investors can reap the rewards of the Canadian housing market without the hassle of tenant management, while saving a large part of buy-to-let related costs. 

HOW WE DO IT

The homebuyer and the investors enter into a co-ownership deed, whereby the homebuyer (owner and tenant at the same time) rents the share of the property he/she does not own. Throughout the life of the product, the homebuyer has the option to staircase at premium.
